A person’s care plan should be the framework of the care you provide, but a care plan can run to many pages. In an environment where there are say 20 people, that’s literally hundreds of pages. Does anyone have the time to read all of this let alone remember it all, especially if you are a temporary or agency carer. By the time you had done that…your shift would be over! 

So, how does Corton resolve this?    

In Corton, we deal with care plans differently. We split the plan into individual care plan entries. When you record a person’s care event you are prompted with their relevant needs, preferences, OUTCOMES and support requirements. We bring the care plan to the carer and NOT the other way round. By doing this, our person’s care plan is always at the forefront of the care you provide.
